Woman accused of forcing pipe down dog’s throat
I don’t like reporting on stories like this, but at the same time they need to be reported. We need to know what is going on in cases of animal abuse, if for no other reason than to add another bit of evidence as to why we need tougher animal welfare laws.
In this case, a New Hampshire woman has been charged with animal cruelty, for allegedly killing one of her boyfriend’s dogs and seriously injuring another. A pipe was found lodged in the trachea of the dog that died from its injuries.
The story from WMUR also reports other items were discovered in the stomachs of both dogs, including a plastic marker cap, a metal bolt, a metal cigarette lighter and a small shower head inside one of them.
She was was charged with six felony counts of animal cruelty. I wonder, if convicted, what someone charged with six counts of animal cruelty will face in punishment in New Hampshire?
Too often, we end up running the gamut of emotion from to head-scratching to stunned outrage when we finally get word on sentencing for animal cruelty – even felony counts of animal cruelty.
They need to set a precedent with this THING,lock her up and throw away the key….. She is obviously unhinged.
People like this shouldn’t be walking around Society unsupervised so what if a child annoyed in the street????
