I’m working on expanding the Pack Mentality Blog effort with more posts on Twitter.
Some of the news items or other tidbits I run across on a daily basis will go directly to the Twitter page. Items that require an expanded post will continue to get top billing right here on the blog. It’s a system that is long overdue here.
I have already kicked off the process of posting a bit more on Twitter, but I hope to do so with a little more pace going forward.
Please spread the word to the fellow animal lovers in your circle of compassionate friends and relatives. My personal mission is to spread news about animal welfare and animal self-awareness and about compassion – to as many people as possible. I really appreciate your assistance.
Check in with the Pack Mentality Blog on Twitter, as I am trying to post more there – primarily with quick news updates on current and breaking news and other tidbits.
I hope to quicken the pace on Twitter over the next few days – and of course beyond.
Just a reminder that the Pack Mentality Blog features new and improved share buttons at the bottom of each post.
This, of course, makes it easy to spread the animal-related news and opinion through your Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and other personal pages. Spreading compassion is a wonderful thing.
Thank you one and all.
Petfinder.com will hold a “Big Birthday Adoption Event” this weekend (July 15-17) throughout 1,500 shelters and rescue groups across North America.
“We are so proud of the more than 17 million adoptions we have helped facilitate since we started Petfinder.com,” said Betsy Banks Saul, who founded the organization with Jared Saul in 1996, through a press release. “To honor that amazing accomplishment, we want to do something really big and impactful to once again shine the spotlight on adoption
“Petfinder.com is the only animal welfare organization with a network this large, so we decided it was time to bring everyone together at one time to hold adoption events from state to state, coast to coast.”
Welcome to the new location for the Pack Mentality Blog.
The old site will be still be up for some time and I’ll post there too, at least during this transition period. I tried to find a template that is reader-friendly, but includes a couple more features.
Facebook Like buttons will now appear with each, for another option in spreading the animal-welfare messages.
As soon as I have everything ready for the change over, I will be moving the blog operations to this site.
When the switch is ready, there will be announcements going out.
