Who says dogs can’t communicate the way humans do? These two canines have taken to 21st Century technology for a long-distance friendship.

I wonder if their Skype handles are something like @Howler or @Bark or @FireHydrant.

The SPCA is promoting its rescue dogs in New Zealand by training several of them to drive special little cars. It’s odd. It’s strange. But they might be better drivers than a few people I often encounter in my home town.

Their skills will be put to a test in a live broadcast on December 10.
