Hundreds of dogs rescued from suspected puppy mill in NC

Nearly 300 dogs were rescued Thursday from an alleged puppy mil operation in Caldwell County, NC.

And once again, we read a story that described dogs in extremely poor health. Some were found dead. Yet, we see a familiar quote from the owner of the operation.

From WRAL.com – “The dogs are fit, the dogs are happy,” the owner said. “None of them are in poor health.”

WRAL reported female dogs and puppies were found covered in filth in one building. Despite wearing masks, some the volunteers working on the rescue were overcome with intense nausea.

But the breeder says the dogs were happy and healthy. Some people don’t let facts or evidence or reality stand in their way – do they?

  1. Nearly 300?!? That is beyond outrageous!!! Happy and healthy? As my Grandma used to say, “horse-puckies”. Delusional.

  3. Sorry Tom. I only clicked once. Not sure how that posted twice. I think once was enough…
