While awareness of animal cruelty is on the rise – I believe – some people remain clueless. Add a state government in India to the ranks of the clueless.

Officials in one region are backing a plan for a new greyhound racetrack in Punjab, India.

Coupled with another track in the area, a writer calls the news a “double delight” in a story posted July 24 on The Times of India website.  For that clueless remark, let’s award the writer and the state government proposing this double horror a boxed set of Pack of Putrid Punditry Awards.
