A Maltese dog named Caesar went missing in June of 2010 after car accident on Interstate 40 that killed two family members.
He was discovered Friday at a Tucumcari, NM animal shelter, by a volunteer from Tucumcari Animal Rescue Group.
QCSunOnline.com reported Wednesday the little dog was on his way – by plane and car – to be reunited with his family in Clio, Mich. A microchip led to Caesar’s people being found, although some research went into then effort because the phone number registered was no longer in service.
Keep your microchip registration updated folks.
